Reliance Inds. Q4 net profit down 18.36% at Rs 11283.00 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 11,283.00 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2024 as compared to Rs 13821.00 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 18.36 per cent.
Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 23.70 per cent at Rs 1,46,832.00 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,18,702.00 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 26.01 per cent to Rs 1,26,809.00 crore from Rs 1,00,632.00 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 25.57 per cent at Rs 3,497.00 crore versus (Mar'23 Rs 2,785.00 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 10.81 per cent to Rs 20,023.00 crore as against Rs 18,070.00 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 10.38 per cent in March quarter.
Interest declined by 3.52 per cent y-o-y to Rs 3,613.00 crore, while Taxation increased by 578.92 per cent at Rs 3,768.00 crore (Mar'23 Rs 555.00 crore).
